FRENCH COLONIES - SYRIA 1924 2pi on 40c red and pale blue (as SG 127, Yvert 114, Scott  137) with ALBINO SURCHARGE - a mint BLOCK OF NINE (3x3, 8 stamps never hinged), the top row (on reverse) with a partial offset of the surcharge. Some minor creasing and a few small tone spots on gum, but a spectacular unlisted error!
